Our Story
Whittemore House didn't begin in a lab. It began with a question that wouldn't go away: why do we keep accepting trade-offs? Why does lift have to compromise condition? Why does color have to fight the hair?

Larry Raspanti, Our Founder
In his more than 25 years in the industry, Larry has been fortunate to build experience as a salon owner, a product innovator, and global educator, while collaborating with many of the world's most celebrated figures across film, television, music and culture.

Where Real Change Happens
Founded in 2008 by Larry, after years behind the chair, the brand was built to answer it. We stand for hair health in every sense. Not just elasticity. Not just shine. The whole picture: cuticle integrity, moisture balance, structural strength, color longevity, and the way hair moves when it's truly healthy. Our formulations work at the molecular level, because that's where real change happens. Everything else is surface.

Balayage and hair painting aren't techniques.
They're a philosophy of movement, dimension, and individuality, and they demand a canvas worth working on. Every product is built to serve that standard: before the service, through it, and long after the client leaves. We come from a lineage of teachers and artists. What we know, we share. We honor the craft, and love building the community together.

What We Believe In
Hair Health Is Everything. Healthy hair starts at the molecular level. Our formulations protect the cuticle, optimize elasticity, and support hair health holistically, before, during, and after every service.
Earned Excellence. Twenty-five years of real salon work, not lab theory, inform every product. We don’t guess. We’ve seen it. Integrity in Every Strand. No shortcuts. No compromises. From formulation to philosophy, we operate with respect for the artist, for the client, and for the process. Science-backed. Soul-led. Generosity of Knowledge. What we know, we share. We come from the lineage of teachers and artists who believe in lifting others up. Our knowledge isn’t gatekept. It flows freely.
